Nels Tate, Founder
Nels Tate is a client-focused strategist with 10+ years of experience turning complex technology into practical business outcomes. He studied Electrical Engineering at Montana State University (2011–2015) and holds an FE Electrical Engineering certification and FINRA Series 65 license.
Nels founded Tatonic Ventures in 2017 out of Bozeman, Montana with a focus on long-term partnerships with founder-led businesses. His work spans AI implementation, digital transformation, and emerging technology applications across multiple industries.
Beyond Tatonic, Nels is an active voice in Montana’s tech and business community. He co-founded FUND Montana, a platform connecting Montana businesses with investors, and speaks regularly at AI-focused community events throughout the state.
